Click-Through Rate (CTR)

The percentage of people who click your ad or listing after seeing it, a core measure of appeal.

Click-through rate, or CTR, is the share of people who click on your ad, link, or listing after it is shown to them. You calculate it by dividing clicks by impressions, so a listing shown 100 times and clicked 5 times has a 5 percent CTR. A strong rate signals that your headline and message resonate with the audience. It influences both ad performance and how Google judges your relevance.
